My comprehensive approach includes theory test coaching, hazard perception training and mock practical driving tests.

I use both Harehills and Horsforth test centres and I'm also happy to instruct any learners wishing to take their test in Knaresborough.

I offer motorway driving lessons and refresher driving courses for those drivers who may not have driven in some time.

What is Pass Plus?

It's a 6 hour course and includes motorway, country roads, how to cope with different weather conditions, how to cope driving at night and rules for parking on a road at night, and also topping up on driving skills in a city centre and on a dual carriageway. The nature of driving at night and in different weather conditions, means those 2 modules of the Pass Plus course will be mainly theory based. Depending on where you've learnt to drive in the first place, you may never have experienced driving on some of these road types, and depending on what time of the year you learnt to drive, you may never have driven at night, or never experienced driving in certain weather conditions. As newly qualified drivers, none of you will have much experience of driving on a motorway and the experience you will gain from Pass Plus will be invaluable. Some insurance companies even give a discount once you've completed the course.

The following insurance companies have indicated that they are supporting the Pass Plus scheme and offer a discount on their comprehensive, third party fire and theft and third party policies, when insuring a Pass Plus candidate's own car. The discount may also be deferred for 2 years if a Pass Plus candidate currently drives under some else's policy, providing no claims are made within the intervening period :
